Creating a UNESCO Chair for Communication, Media Information Literacy and Citizenship will increase Lisbon Polytechnic/ESCS visibility and improve the school’s relationship with the community, the city and its different institutions. The mission of the Chair will exemplify ESCS perspectives on communication, media literacy and citizenship through the involvement of teaching staff, researchers and students in project and society development.
